We’re one step closer to seeing justice for Matthew Perry.
On Tuesday, multiple outlets reported that Dr. Mark Chavez, one of the many individuals charged in connection with the late Friends star’s death, formally pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine in Los Angeles court on Wednesday.

Last month, five total suspects were arrested in the case including Dr. Chavez, Dr. Salvador Plasencia, Matthew’s assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, Erik Fleming, and Jasveen Sangha, otherwise known as “The Ketamine Queen.”
Chavez faces up to 10 years in prison, but his sentencing isn’t until April of 2025. Until then, he’s out free on a $50,000 bond… But he had to turn over his passport and medical license.
Borth Kenneth and Erik have also reportedly accepted plea deals, while Dr. Plasencia and Jasveen have both pled not guilty and will fight their charges… But Chavez could derail their plan, because he reportedly has some pretty damning texts from Plasencia asking wondering “how much this moron will pay [for the ketamine],” referring to Matthew.
We hope to see justice!
