So even though LA Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is reportedly appalled that his staff set up a website asking for donations from the public to foot the bill for MJ‘s memorial, Villaraigosa still expects the city of Los Angeles to pay!!!!

The mayor was on vacation in South Africa when the website went up and has called it “ridiculous,” but Villaraigosa believes the city is responsible for the safety costs around the perimeter of the Staples Center.
The pricetag?
Oh, only $1.4 million!!!!
We’re curious to see how Villaraigosa will magically make $1.4 million appear out of thin air from a state currently struggling with a $24 billion deficit!
