Mel Gibson Is Moving On From His Scandalous Past - Are You Moving On With Him?

It’s hard to believe that the Mel Gibson arrest and anti-Semitic slur-a-thon was 8 years ago.
Now, after Gary Oldman defended him in a very poorly delivered section of an interview where he basically implied, just like an Avenue Q song, that everyone is a little bit racist, Mel has finally declared his FREEEEEEDOM from this scandalous part of his life, and mentioned in a recent interview that he’s moved on, especially in light of Gary’s remarks:

“It’s behind me; it’s an 8-year-old story. It keeps coming up like a rerun, but I’ve dealt with it and I’ve dealt with it responsibly and I’ve worked on myself for anything I am culpable for. All the necessary mea culpas have been made copious times, so for this question to keep coming up, it’s kind of like … I’m sorry they feel that way, but I’ve done what I need to do.├óΓé¼┬¥

Well, we’d be glad for him if he was indeed able to personally mend and change himself, but we’re not sure if everyone else has gotten past the things he said.
It might just take a Braveheart to overcome this faux pas…
