Well, we guess there was nothing to those cheating rumors? Either that or Melania Trump just DGAF about that anymore…
The former First Lady is promoting her upcoming memoir with an interview — where else — on Fox News. And if you were hoping for some sort of scandal or tea, forget it. This time she totally towed the party line, attacking Kamala Harris over grocery prices and troops dying… She was really reading the Donald Trump 2024 script.
Notably she was not asked about those rumors Donald was having an affair with Laura Loomer. The right-wing pundit had been all over the campaign’s events — and all over Donald himself in photos and videos — before the public noticed, and she immediately was banned from the plane. If this had been Kamala with a younger guy, Fox would still be talking about it, but we guess it’s not a surprise they have no interest in asking Melania her opinion on something that looks bad for Trump.
But of course the fact she used half her time as a campaign ad for her husband seemingly shows there’s no bad blood. Not that she spends enough time around Donald to fight with him these days, right?

That’s not to say she had nothing interesting to say. What caught our attention was how annoyed she was about… that Mar-a-Lago raid. When Ainsley Earhardt asked how she felt about the feds coming unannounced to search for illegally held top secret documents — which they found a LOT of, we’d remind you — Melania declared:
“It made me angry.”
We assumed she’d talk about how it was an all-caps WITCH HUNT like her husband had so many times, but instead it was more a personal grievance about the fact they searched her room:
“Invasion of privacy and the way it was done. I was really surprised… You get angry because nobody should be putting up with that kind of stuff.”
Um… Nobody? So the police, FBI, Homeland Security, shouldn’t ever carry out raids on houses of folks accused of crimes? Drug dealers? Arms dealers? Human traffickers? Diddy? We mean… she said “nobody.”

We just find it kind of hilarious — and telling what she prioritizes — that she was just so annoyed that her room was part of a raid for illegal materials… She complained:
“Some person — I don’t even know who or how many people — they went through my stuff.”
Sorry, but… If that doesn’t sound like a mob wife from a TV show, we don’t know what does.
We will remind everyone once again, the raid on Mar-a-Lago wasn’t a witch hunt — because witch hunts never actually found witches! The feds found the classified documents Trump was believed to have taken from the White House, stuff no private citizen, even a former POTUS, has any business having access to. And he was asked nicely many times to please give them back — but refused and hid them instead. The fact Trump’s handpicked judge threw out the case doesn’t change that.
We’re just going to end by saying… This woman knows who she’s married to. Getting raided occasionally?
