Last week, Andrew Garfield had more than just our spidey senses tingling!
The Spider-Man star admitted that he’d be game to play a GAY Peter Parker in the next movie! And AGarf even knew who he wanted to play Pete’s boyfriend – actor Michael B. Jordan!
Michael is no stranger to super powers! He starred in the surprise blockbuster Chronicle in 2012 and is rumored to be be playing Johnny Storm in the Fantastic Four reboot! But would he be down for a man-on-man movie role?
Michael recently responded to Andrew’s invitation, saying:
“No thoughts on that, but I am a fan of Andrew. He├óΓé¼Γäós a talented actor, I admire his work, and I├óΓé¼Γäód definitely love to work with him in the future. He├óΓé¼Γäós a funny guy├óΓé¼ΓÇ£he├óΓé¼Γäós got a sense of humor and I love people that won├óΓé¼Γäót take themselves too seriously all the time, so it├óΓé¼Γäós cool for him to come out and say how he felt or joke around or whatever. It was fun, I laughed at it.”
Hmm. Who said anything about joking around???
C’mon Mikey, it’s 2013! What’s wrong with a gay superhero?
It sounds to us like Mr. Jordan might not be ready for an onscreen boyfriend. But that shouldn’t stop Spider-Man from landing the dude of his dreams! There’s plenty of fish in the sea to sling your web at!
