Actor Michael McKean is being transferred to Roosevelt Hospital for physical rehab!
It sucks that he needs phys rehab at all, but it’s a good sign that they’re starting it already!
Plus he’s in good spirits, it seems!
Michael as struck by one or more motor vehicles on a Manhattan sidewalk and suffered serious injuries — which is a bummer because that means he’ll be missing the rest of the run of the Broadway production of Gore Vidal├óΓé¼Γäós The Best Man, which he was starring in.
Apparently the rehab will be extensive.
Here’s what he said about it:
├óΓé¼┼ôI am heading into week two with renewed admiration for New York City├óΓé¼Γäós Emergency Medical Service staff, the NYPD, the staff of St. Luke’s Hospital (where I was born!) and all those with problems much greater than my own. I am overwhelmed by the good wishes of friends old and new. My family has been wonderful. My wife Annette, whom I’ve always suspected of being a saint, has proven to be somewhat more than that.├óΓé¼┬¥
Awwww!
Well we hope you get better soon, Michael!
