New documents are revealing the severity of Michael Jackson‘s drug addiction. The speculation that MJ’s death was related to drugs in some fashion seems to be all but a certainty at this point.
This new information was obtained from a court 2004 document just made public, during which time Michael was on trial for child molestation. Through documented interviews with staff, including two former security guards, if was confirmed that Jackson not only went to great lengths to obtain medication (sending staff to retrieve pills for him, visiting doctors out of state, etc.), but the pill count mentioned is terribly shocking.
A self-proclaimed insomniac, Michael used to take 10-40 Xanax pills a night to help him sleep! The security guards confirmed seeing him take the pills as well as being asked to pick them up for the superstar.
Furthermore, the documents also list the names of 5 doctors who perhaps aided Michael in his addiction. Until the toxicology report returns from the coroner’s office, it is still unclear as to the means of MJ’S death: homicide or accidental overdose.
But it seems abundantly clear now that drugs were the cause of such a devastating loss.
