Oh, you know, just a 50-city tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s AH-Mazing musical Jesus Christ Superstar!
The arena rock show’s stars, Michelle Williams and Brandon Boyd from Incubus, made the phenom announcement on GMA yesterday with a performance—and we couldn’t be more song, dance, excited!
The rockin’ reinvention of the classic story, set in modern times, is making it’s debut in New Orleans on June 9, and will continue to hit so many wonderful U.S. cities until it concludes in Philly at the end of summer!
Not only are Brandon and Miz Williams in it as Judas Iscariot and Mary Magdalene, but J.C. Chasez will make an awesome return to the stage as Pontius Pilate!
Jesus of Nazareth’s story never looked so glitzy!
