We had a feeling this was going to happen!
After Miley Cyrus was seen allegedly smoking the hallucinogenic drug salvia in a video yesterday that was recorded at her 18th birthday party last month, a movement to ban the drug is now being enforced.
Former CA State Assemblyman Anthony Adams says Miley was irresponsible to smoke salvia because he claims it can make “you do incredibly crazy things.” He adds, “Miley is a star and young kids are going to emulate her behavior.”
Adams wants to bring a bill he tried to get passed in 2007, which would outlaw the substance that is currently legal in California. Salvia is considered to have the same affects as LSD and marijuana. After seeing the video, Adams wants to push for the bill to return, saying, “It’s time for state and federal governments to renew their push toward an outright ban.”
