Mindy McCready was clearly struggling when she decided to take her life.
And now that she has been laid to rest in Florida, details about her autopsies are coming out.
It appears that not only one, but TWO were conducted in order to put some of the pieces of this puzzle together.
Now, as a second autopsy was done, it has left many suspicious that she was on some sort of drug at the time as an insider revealed:
“Right after the coroner released Mindy’s body to a funeral home in Arkansas, they suddenly demanded that it be sent back to the coroner’s office for ‘additional tests.’”
She did struggle with substance abuse in the past, so it is a definite possibility that she was on something before taking her life.
Plus, her friend and drug counselor, Bob Forrest, seems to think she wouldn’t have done something like this if she were in a normal state of mind. He commented:
“I never thought Mindy would take her own life. I always thought if she died it would be at the hands of another because of her past physically abusive relationships with men … Mindy had lost custody of her kids before and didn’t kill herself then.”
Unfortunately, Mindy killed herself not long after her boyfriend, David Wilson, died due to unknown circumstances.
It’s believed that her life unraveled after losing him and, later, her children in a custody matter.
