Mitch Winehouse is not holding back in how he feels about documentary filmmaker Asif Kapadia after the film AMY won Best Documentary last night at the Oscars!

The documentary, whose subject is of course Mitch’s late daughter Amy Winehouse, is causing lots of anger for the late singer’s taxi driver father!
Mitch tweeted early Monday morning after the doc’s win, directing all his fire at Kapadia (below):
Always proud of my baby. Amy will not get an oscar though. Just Asif Kapadia. That is what this is all about…Asif. He’s fooled everybody

I am not changing my stance just because film won Oscar. It’s a negative, spiteful and misleading portrayal of Amy. We will fix this.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Mitch has criticized how people have taken on Amy’s work… so maybe he’s just overly sensitive to his daughter’s music and legacy?!
