Perhaps to honor a year without her. That would be a nice way to remember her.
It has been Mitch Winehouse’s fervent wish ever since the passing of his daughter to pay tribute to her in anyway that he can. The loss of Amy Winehouse was felt around the world by her fans and fellow musicians, but no one misses her more than her beloved father.
It is rumored that he has big plans for a very special tribute concert to her. Apparently, he is hoping to get an awe-inspiring group of performers together for one night, to play a show that would not only honor Amy, but would raise money for the Amy Winehouse Foundation, a charity he started in her memroy.
Among the artist supposedly on the roster (or at least hope to be) include Florence + the Machine, Lily Allen, Jessie J and Mark Ronson.
If he could get them together, it would be one hell of a show! Here’s hope he can make something happening – for Amy’s sake.
