This would not be surprising!

Us Weekly is reporting that just days before his tragic death, Michael Jackson had a cancerous lesion removed from his nose. The procedure to remove the skin cancer from his face apparently did not faze the pop icon.

In fact, the source claims that gave him the kind of high he seeked, literally: “Last week, I had two real sources call me and say he’s getting surgery right now for removal of skin cancer off his nose. This is not a man who suffers pain well. He likes painkillers. So he got some from here, he got some from there — who knows how much.”

The painkillers were not the only drug Michael demanded. After spending years on a irregular sleep regiment, including staying up all night and sleeping until 3 or 4 in the afternoon, MJ was placed on a more structured schedule due to the rehearsals for his London shows. The change, sources suggest, “totally screwed up his system.”

Michael proclaimed he was suffering from insomnia and went after a drug called Diprivan to induce sleep.

Could this have be the drug cocktail that ultimately did the King of Pop in?

No one will know for sure until the toxicology report becomes available in a few weeks, but we’re sure dozens more theories will arise until then.
