'Mob Wives' Alum Drita D’Avanzo & Hubby Arrested After Police Find Guns & Drugs In Their Home!

Drita D’Avanzo is really living up to her title!

According to SI Live, the former Mob Wives star and her husband were arrested after the NYPD raided their home in Pleasant Plains, NY on Thursday night and found weapons and drugs.

The 43-year-old and her 50-year-old husband, Lee D’Avanzo, an alleged mob associate whose crooked past was a running theme of the reality show, were taken into custody at about 6 p.m., after a search warrant was executed at their residence. Authorities recovered two loaded firearms, assorted painkillers and anti-anxiety medications, a large amount of marijuana, and a scale.

A source with knowledge of the situation told the outlet the raid went down after officers received community tips and concerns about activities at their home.

We wonder how many were from viewers…

Both face charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a firearm, and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

By this point, Drita and her hubby are used to being cuffed and booked.

Lee was previously arrested as one of four suspects in “Operation Turkeyshoot,” where he was caught allegedly trying to break into a New Springville bank vault in 2008. According to docs previously filed by federal prosecutors, Lee and other suspects attempted to gain access to by drilling through the walls of a neighboring building.

Lee, who was on federal probation at the time for similar crimes, was sentenced to 36 months to five years in state prison. He was sentenced in 2003 to 62 months in federal prison on a conviction of racketeering for multiple robberies, marijuana distribution, loansharking, and money laundering.

In court, he was identified by prosecutors as a member of the New Springville Boys, “a racketeering enterprise with connections to the Bonanno organized crime family.” Lee reportedly admitted to using a firearm to rob or attempt to rob individuals on five separate occasions as a member of the New Springville Boys. His alleged victims include the driver of a delivery truck, a marijuana dealer, and a stockbroker.

Drita also has a history; she was arrested in February of 2016 when she was accused of punching a woman at the victim’s home.

Both man and mob wife are expected to be arraigned in Criminal Court in St. George on Friday.
