Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are giving their romance another shot!
For those who don’t know, the beloved Love Island UK couple broke up in August. At the time, word on the street was that Tommy cheated on Molly. Not just once but multiple times. When the reality star allegedly found out he “was unfaithful to her,” she confronted the professional boxer and kicked him out of their Cheshire home. Tommy repeatedly denied the affair allegations, but Molly never said anything to confirm or deny them.
Eventually, the athlete came forward in an interview with Men’s Health UK that “cheating was never a thing,” but instead “something a bit more serious” happened — a drinking problem. According to Tommy, his struggles with alcohol addiction are the only thing that caused the end of their relationship. He said:
“You can ask Molly this yourself. It was the drink, and the drink is not a good thing. You need to get a grip of it. If you’re in the same spot as me, where you just think that it’s going to cure all your problems, it doesn’t. You wake up even worse and you want to drink more to try and feel happy again. That’s the cycle of it.”
Tommy, thankfully, broke the “cycle.” But where does he stand with Molly today? You may recall the pair sparked reconciliation rumors back in January when The Sun dropped a video of the two kissing at a New Year’s Eve party. See it HERE. Neither of them addressed the speculation — until now!
In the new episode of her Amazon Prime Video docuseries, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, which dropped on Friday, Molly confirmed they are back together! Wow! During an international photoshoot for a partnership with a hair company, she called Tommy, with whom she shares her 2-year-old daughter, Bambi, to check in. She asked if he wanted to “see the view” while on FaceTime, switching her camera to face the snow-covered mountains, but he had a different idea:
“No, I’m kind of enjoying the view that’s in front of me. I wanna see that face for eternity.”
Aww! After some more flirting, the episode cuts to a confessional with Molly saying how happy she is with the state of their relationship:
“How we are right now is the reason that I’ve sort of held on this whole time to us, because I know just how amazing we can be. The version of who he is right now is one of the best I’ve seen. Maybe if this carries on, each day that goes past, the days turn into weeks, the weeks turn into months, and the next thing you know, we’ve had years go by of just having this consistent, amazing couple that I know we can be. That’s what I hope for.”
Hopefully, the two can make things work this time around!
Later in the chat, Molly asked if Tommy planned to book a “romantic getaway” for them, and he agreed. The 25-year-old influencer shared that she has been “spending a couple more nights at his house a week” and is “seeing how it goes.” Eventually, they end the call with “I love yous” to each other. Well, she said “love you” and he replied “bye-bye” at first. Molly wasn’t a fan that he didn’t say it back, so she hung up on him before calling him back for a re-do. He then said:
“I love you.”
