All you herbivores out there, do you like music??
Of course you do! That’s why you’re gonna wanna be at the Morrissey concert at the Staples Center — it’s going to be the first ever all-vegetarian show there!!
What does that mean, exactly? Are you able to attend if you’re not a vegetarian?
Sure you can, you just won’t be able to find or buy any food with meat in it before/during/after the show at the venue, because Morrissey was granted something that even Sir Paul McCartney wasn’t: a shutdown of all the meat-offering food outlets, including the McDonalds outlets!
Here’s what the singer had to say:
“I don’t look upon it as a victory for me, but a victory for the animals.”
In addition to the shuttering of meat-offering places, the Staples Center and promoter Goldenvoice will each donate a portion of the proceeds of ticket sales to PETA.
