Momma Perez is going back to Los Angeles for a bit, but before she leaves us we wanted to take her to see a show! We couldn’t have made a better choice than Motown, the musical.
The new Broadway show gave us everything we were hoping for – and so much more!!!!
The musical tells the story of the iconic Motown label and its founder, Berry Gordy.
The show is filled with too many hits to fit! But they got almost all of them in – expertly abridging songs so you get the feel for the whole tune without listening to the entire thing.
The show is also, surprisingly, filled with some AMAZING dancing!
The set is spectacular! The costumes and wigs are fab!
It’s like a Cirque Du Soleil show – minus the acrobatics! It’s big! Big! BIG!!!
And we loved it so much! Mom did too!!!
