MTV Releases Statement On Teen Mom's Criminal Case

Yesterday, MTV’s Teen Mom Amber Portwood was finally officially charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor for domestic violence against her fiancee Gary Shirley.

As officials first launched their investiagation after an episode of the show aired showing Amber beat on Gary, MTV’s cooperation was imperative for police to move forward. Now that the charges have been filed, MTV has released an official statement about the situation. The statement reads:

“We are cooperating with all parties and hope for a quick and fair resolution that allows everyone involved to move forward in a positive manner.”

We agree. We hope this whole mess actually teaches Amber something, making her a better role model and mother for her child.
