Muse is a band that’s always re-defining their sound without straying too far from who they are… and from the songs they’ve been releasing lately, their new album Drones sounds like it’s going to be on the angstier side!
The band just released their new single Dead Inside, and has unveiled a NSFW lyric video featuring a kaleidoscopic topless woman!
We wonder if frontman Matt Bellamy‘s recent split from Kate Hudson had anything to do with this edgy new album, due to be released June 8.

The two broke off their engagement late last year, right when Muse was recording the new album. The concept behind Drones was explained by Bellamy:
“To me, Drones are metaphorical psychopaths which enable psychopathic behavior with no recourse. The world is run by Drones utilising Drones to turn us all into Drones.”
To sum it up… DRONES.
