Well, this is very strange!
There was some odd police activity outside Nancy Guthrie‘s home on Thursday night. And we know, that’s not saying much considering how head-scratching this investigation has been so far, but this situation was really unusual!
NewsNation‘s Brian Entin was outside the Tucson home when he and the other lingering media noticed a man in a blue car drive past the home “50 to 100 times.” WTF!
A nearby photographer found this incredibly strange… and things got even weirder when they spotted inside the car that the man had a photo of the 84-year-old pulled up on his phone. Um, what???

The photographer was weirded out by it all and alerted the Pima County Sheriff’s deputies that were in the area, who had a pretty long chat with the man before having him step out of his car and conduct a field sobriety test. Whoa! Ultimately, the man was arrested for a reported DUI. OMG!
So far, it seems like it might all be unrelated to the case — as in, he wasn’t detained like the others whose homes were searched. In fact, this might have nothing to do with the case at all!
HOWEVER, it is REALLY freaking creepy that he was driving by so many times and with a pic of Nancy pulled up! Does he know something?? Or is he just another true crime junkie following the case? Hmm…

Speculating about the suspicious activity, people wrote on TikTok:
“To drive by that much though.. drinking because he’s got something on his mind?”
“I understand he might have been drunk, but why was he still driving up and down the street with her photo? thats still strange.”
“you better believe they’re questioning him”
“him having her picture up on his phone is really strange”
“Sheriff Nanos is gonna say ‘not related!!!
‘”
We’ll have to wait and see if anything more comes of this. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has not commented on the police activity yet.
