She took matters into her own hands after spotting seksi Liev Schreiber eight years ago while the two were both attending the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala!
Naomi says after meeting Liev, she was hoping he would be the one to ask for her phone number. The Oscar-nominee explained:
“Normally I want a guy to make the first move, and he wasn’t. Then he got up to say he was leaving and I was like, ‘Oh, sh*t! Probably another couple years are going to pass by.'”
Ah! She couldn’t let her true love get away! Naomi decided she was going to have to be the one to ask him out! She spilled on what she did next, saying:
“It was a lot more ballsy than I would ever normally be. I was wildly attracted to him and his work, so I said something cheeky as he was about to walk out. I said, ‘Don’t you want my digits?’ Because I couldn’t possibly say, ‘Would you like my phone number?’ It made him laugh. He texted me five minutes later saying, ‘Would you like to go for a drink now?’ And I said, ‘No, I’ll meet you for breakfast tomorrow.'”

And as they often say, the two lived happily ever after!
Naomi and Liev aren’t officially married but have been together ever since that fateful night back in 2005. Together they have two children, Alexander, 6, and Samuel, 4.
True love that began over breakfast…
