The Emmys are back on CBS this year, and you know what that means! Neil Patrick Harris for the win!
NPH is one of our favorite hosts of all time, whether it’s the Emmys, the Tonys, or even the Goldys (the award show that honors the best in award shows- LOLz)!
For CBS, Neil was a no-brainer. Entertainment chief Nina Tassler said:
“Neil is the quintessential host ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ engaging, entertaining and a true showman ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ with a passion for celebrating the medium we all love.
We’re thrilled for him to return for CBS’s broadcast of the Emmy Awards.”
Showing some of the wit we love him for, Neil said:
“I couldn’t be more honored and excited to be hosting this year’s Emmy Awards. And what perfect timing ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ I’ll just do the exact same script I’m about to use for the Tonys.
‘And the Emmy for Best Revival of a Musical goes to Breaking Bad!’ See, told you it works.”
The 2013 Emmys ceremony will air on September 26! We can’t wait!
