On Monday, the rapper’s mom, Carol Maraj, dropped a dance track titled What Makes You, and it is a certified BOP!

After the tune went viral, the Barbz couldn’t contain their excitement!
They wrote on social media:

Of course, this isn’t Carol’s first foray into music. In 2017, she released a song titled Endless.
One thing is for sure… Nicki gets it from her momma!
Speaking of the rapper, last month, the Super Bass MC dropped her music video for Megatron, where she gets hot and heavy with her registered sex offender man, Kenneth Petty!
Despite facing criticism for putting her controversial beau in the clip, the 36-year-old artist simply does not care.
According to a TMZ source:
“She’s happy and in love and he’s not going anywhere.”
Per insiders, the music video is a testament to their relationship, as it mirrors the affection they have for each other. In fact, reportedly, the two’s sexy scenes were pretty much shot in one take.
Regardless of how Miz Minaj feels, some social media users were PISSED about Petty’s cameo. They wrote:

Petty first went public with Nicki back in December 2018, and it is obvious they are still going strong to this day.
Kenneth was sentenced to between 18 and 54 months in state prison at the time of his 1995 conviction, though it is unclear how much time he actually served.
Petty was also charged with manslaughter back in 2006 after allegedly shooting a man in an unrelated incident.
