Nicole Richie Confirms Daughter Goes By A Different Name! Don't Call Her Harlow Anymore!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden’s daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden doesn’t go by Harlow — or Harlow Winter!

This week, the 44-year-old television personality took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter’s 18th birthday. Nicole shared a carousel of pics of the teen throughout the years, along with a caption that read:

“18 years of you @katemaddennn.”

Her uncle, Benji Madden, also referred to the teenager as “Kate” in the comments section, writing:

“How to make a grown man cry!!! love you Kate! You’re a bad a**! Never forget it! Happy 18!!”

Many fans questioned it in the comments. Now, Nicole is confirming! Speaking to People at an event for Nude by Nature on Wednesday, The Simple Life alum shared:

“Yeah, she goes by her middle name. She has her whole life.”

As for the comments about the name, Nicole said she “didn’t look, but it makes sense … she goes by her middle name.” Good to know!
