Nipsey Hussle‘s killer had walked away for a moment during the shooting… only to reportedly return “enraged” after the first shot didn’t finish off the rapper last week in south Los Angeles.
TMZ is reporting new gruesome details about the beloved L.A. rapper’s last moments, where alleged murderer Eric Holder ran up on Nipsey and shot him twice, only to return after Hussle allegedly said something to the shooter.

According to sources, after Holder allegedly first shot Nipsey twice, the rapper fell to the ground before raising his head and saying to the shooter something to the effect of, “you shot me, you got me, I’m good.”
Apparently, Holder — who had allegedly been running away at that point already — became enraged that Nipsey was still alive, and so he turned back and fired more bullets. It’s that second flurry of bullets, eyewitnesses claim, that truly killed Nipsey.
It’s a disturbing account, but it’s also one that matches up almost perfectly with what Hussle’s own brother has said about the rapper’s moment of death, with the shooter running up several times on the beloved L.A. icon to finish the job.
Surveillance camera footage also apparently backs up the story, seeming to show a man — police allege that was Holder — run up on Nipsey, shoot him, walk away, return and shoot him some more, eventually kick him, and then run off into an alley before making his getaway.

Holder, of course, is the man alleged to have done this. Police arrested the aspiring rapper on Tuesday and charged him with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. His bond is at $5 million right now, and he’s currently being held in solitary confinement in jail to protect him from other inmates who would seek revenge for Nipsey’s killing.
Holder is due back in court on May 10 for his next proceeding.
Obviously, all these details don’t really change much as far as the tragedy itself goes — no matter what happened in that moment in Hyde Park, Nipsey Hussle has tragically passed away. But it certainly underscores how evil and depraved this murder was, and in broad daylight in a crowded area, to boot. So sad.
Kodak Black
Also, some more notable Nipsey news today… Kodak Black apologized to Lauren London… sort of.
As you’ll recall yesterday, the rapper decided to shoot his shot for Nipsey’s longtime love not even a week after Hussle’s tragic death, and things didn’t go over so well on social media for Kodak. Now, he says he’s sorry. Kinda. In fact, he totally back-tracks and delivers a brutal non-apology. Ugh… watch the whole video HERE.
Around all of this drama, and more sadly the tragedy itself, our thoughts continue to be with Lauren London and the rest of Nipsey’s family, friends, and loved ones as they struggle with his untimely death.
