Is all well between Noah and Billy Ray Cyrus now?
As you may know, the family has not been in a good place lately! It all started when his son Trace Cyrus implored him to get help for an unspecified issue following the country music star’s disastrous performance at Donald Trump’s Liberty Ball last month. Whoa. He wrote at the time:
“Since my earliest memories all I can remember is being obsessed with you and thinking you were the coolest person ever. I wanted to be just like you. The day you adopted me was the happiest day of my life. Sadly the man that I wanted so desperately to be just like I barely recognize now. It seems this world has beaten you down and it’s become obvious to everyone but you.”
We do not know what the Achy Breaky Heart artist has been struggling with. However, his ex-wife Firerose previously accused him of “persistent drug use accompanied with the consumption of marijuana,” which he denied. Is this what Trace is hinting at, too? He hasn’t further explained what he meant — though his brother Braison later insisted Billy is “healthy.” As for the other family members? According to the Metro Station guitarist, their three sisters, Miley, Brandi, and Noah, have been “worried” about the actor “for years.”

Although Billy Ray is going through some issues, some sources claim his children, especially Miley, don’t want to fix their relationship with him yet. Is that the truth? Because other insiders insist Miley and Noah are in “a really good place” with their dad. Meanwhile, Miley even seemed to prove she’s warmed up to the Old Town Road singer when she liked his post about her Grammy win with Beyoncé earlier this week! Now it looks like Noah is doing the same! She had some sweet things to say about her father!
On Friday, Billy Ray released a new track called Lost. Take a listen (below):
And you know who gave him a shout-out? Noah! She praised the musician on Instagram Stories, saying:
“So proud of my Dads INCREDIBLE new single LOST with my good, old friends [Sam Tinnesz] and [Tommee Profitt]
”
So much for those estrangement claims??? Hmm.
Billy responded to kind message, writing on his own account:
