When we think of the scrum-diddly-umptious men that could/should play Casanova on the stage, John Malkovich doesn’t even make the loooooong list.
Still, a new Austrian theater production has chosen John to play the iconic 18th-century womanizer in The Giacomo Variations, an operatic play that will feature the music by Mozart.
When asked about his role in the project, John would only say that “it’s the closest I’ll ever get to realizing my boyhood dream of being in the Vienna Boys’ Choir.”
Um, okay then. Still think they could have found someone a bit more, um, attractive for the role!
Just saying!
