Lance Bass Says *NSYNC Will 'Sit Down This Summer' To Discuss A Potential Reunion!

Lance Bass talks possible NSYNC reunion

You can officially start getting your hopes up for a possible *NSYNC reunion!
According to Lance Bass, the band will soon meet to discuss whether or not to get together for a full-fledged reunion following their lauded Coachella performance earlier this year.
The 40-year-old recently told Variety that the group’s members haven’t sat down to discuss the possibilities of reuniting just yet, but they’re planning to meet later this summer and decide if they truly want to come together for a new project!

He told the publication:

“We haven’t talked about what the next step is but I know we’ll sit down during the summer together and figure it out.”

While Bass noted that the band’s mini-reunion at Coachella was “definitely a one-off,” offers have been pouring in thanks to the positive reaction from their performance — and the guys would be “stupid” not to seriously consider these “many, many” offers.
He added:

“There are many, many things coming across our desk because of Coachella that we would be stupid not to discuss and look at. Coachella was incredible and it was a big moment for *NSYNC… People are really into nostalgia right now. They’re really digging the 90s and early 2000s again, and I think fans just want to feel that innocence and excitement again.”

That’s for damn sure!

As we reported, the celebrated boy band made headlines back in April when Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick all joined Ariana Grande on stage during weekend one of the Indio, California music festival.
The quartet joined Ari to perform her song break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored, which samples their song It Makes Me Ill from the group’s hit 2000s album, No Strings Attached. The artists then segued into a performance of *NSYNC’s Tearin’ Up My Heart.

Noticeably absent from the concert was Justin Timberlake, who later applauded his former bandmates’ performance on Instagram, writing:

“You guys killed it last night.”

Following the boy band’s mini-reunion, rumors started to swirl that the group was thinking about reuniting for a full-on tour, and even to possibly record new music — with or without JT.

Fatone, who filed for divorce from wife Kelly Baldwin, recently addressed these rumors, saying he would “never say never” to an *NSYNC — or even a *SYNC — reunion project.
The 42-year-old told Us Weekly last week:

“We have to have the conversation, even without Justin. The whole thing about it is it’s really awkward. It’s not awkward, but it’s weird. People will be like, ‘If Justin doesn’t do it, the group’s not gonna do it.’ That wasn’t even the case. That’s not even the conversation. Everyone’s heads are in different times and different places in our lives.”

Sounds like they’re all seriously considering it!
We’ll have to wait and see if this *(N)SYNC reunion does come to fruition — if it does, though, it’s safe to say it’s gonna be a huge!
