Honestly, we’d have been just fine if O.J. Simpson had decided to never post this video, and we all could’ve lived our lives on Twitter freely and innocently without worrying about seeing this face in our nightmares…
The former NFL star who was of course at the center of perhaps the most infamous murder trial in history back in the mid-1990s, Simpson took to the 280-character social media network for the first time late Friday night, sharing a selfie video with his fans — and it’s SUPER creepy…

In the video, which appears to be taken outside in a backyard or something with palm trees and lots of green open space in the background, Simpson announces his arrival to Twitter and proudly smiles about how excited he is to share all of his opinions with the world. Uhhh… OK. Weird, perhaps, but not creepy… yet.
But seconds later, the video turns, and Simpson announces how he’s “got a lot of getting even to do” with some people on the social networking site — apparently because there are certain fake accounts impersonating him, or something?

“Hey Twitter world, this is yours truly, and I’m coming soon to Twitter. You’ll get to read all my thoughts and opinions on just about everything. Now there’s a lot of fake O.J. accounts out there, so this one, @TheRealOJ32, is the only official one. So this should be a lot of fun. I’ve got a little getting even to do. So God bless, and take care.”
Uhhh… so, like, seriously, what does the last part really mean??? Getting even… with the fake account impersonators?

Ahhhhh!
Isn’t it a little weird that O.J. can’t just, like, walk off into the sunset and stay out of the public eye?? Why does he have to even join Twitter — the reaction to every one of his tweets is going to be super predictable! And it is at least a little curious how he decided to join in the same week as the 25th anniversary of the death of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson, as well as Ronald Goodman — deaths for which Simpson was so infamously acquitted of murder several years later.
Thoughts/reactions, Perezcious readers? This is weird, right?! We can’t be the only ones who think O.J.’s new Twitter video was a little weird!!!
