Smash starlet Megan Hilty actually played Glinda in the Broadway musical Wicked from May 2005 to May 2006, so she would be a great choice for the televised role, no!?
But a las, so did Legally Blonde: The Musical‘s Laura Bell Bundy–and she’s peppy perfection!
And we can’t sleep on the petite wonder that is Kristin Chenoweth! She originated the damn character on Broadway in all her vocalicious glory!
We must honorably mention Dianna Agron, because this Glee star is seriously a Disney princess in living form! She’s full of so much good and grace!
But our personal choice would have to be Elisha Cuthbert! This Girl Next Door might just bring the right amount of strong and powerful sass needed for this character to be taken seriously! Her sitcom Happy Endings was canceled last year, so she’s totally free everyone!
