One Tree Hill regular Antwon Tanner pleaded guilty on Friday to illegally selling Social Security numbers for $10,000.
Was the TV show not paying the genius enough $$$$$?!
The actor was charged in April for selling 16 numbers and three fake cards to undercover Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers while running a sting operation in Brooklyn.
Tanner, who is also under investigation in California, faces up to 10 years in jail and a $250,000 fine.
Although he claims to have just been a middleman, the TV star knew the numbers would be used to fraudulently access goods. He will most likely serve only 6-12 months because there is no evidence that the numbers were used to defraud anyone…YET!
What a douche!
P.S. He’s 35 and cast on One Tree Hill?!
