Daisy Dove is yet again being used as the perfect distraction amid parents’ Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom‘s split rumors!
On Sunday, the actor was spotted in Australia hanging with his 4-year-old daughter amid marriage trouble speculation. Katy has been performing her Lifetimes Tour Down Under the entire month, while Orlando has been back in the States on a press tour with just his tiny pup to keep him company.
So, the fact he made the trip says a lot! However, is it just damage control??

In photos, Orlando was seen walking with his daughter sitting on his shoulders with other members of his entourage, including an apparent security guard, in Perth’s Central Business District. He seemed to be in good spirits as he enjoyed some much-needed father-daughter time!
But most importantly, the pop star was NOWHERE to be seen! She performed in the city that night, so maybe she was just busy getting ready? Or maybe they were purposefully keeping their distance?! We wouldn’t put that past ’em. Oof. See the photos HERE.
As Perezcious readers know, the couple has reportedly hit a rough patch amid “stress” from the singer’s album flop and poor tour reviews – as well as the fact Orlando was against Katy’s participation in the Blue Origin space flight. They’ve broken up in the past, so this might not be the end of it all. Some insiders are holding out hope… but others believe they will confirm the breakup when Katy’s tour concludes in December.
What makes this trip to Australia extra inneresting is that the Pirates of the Caribbean alum traveled to visit his family just days before he’s set to be in Italy to attend Jeff Bezos‘ wedding to Lauren Sanchez later this week.
While the Last Friday Night vocalist will be too busy with her tour, DailyMail.com insiders previously claimed Orlando was determined to attend the nuptials by himself. Katy was finding it “difficult to accept” considering he hated that she went to space so much and those were the people “who made it possible for her to do this in the first place.”
It sounded like he was out for some petty revenge! Whether or not he attends the ceremony will really send a signal about what the status of the relationship is right now — and whether or not this was all damage control!
