Ouch! The Real Reason Bardem Was Missing From The Oscars

Penelope Cruz‘s main squeeze and Vicky Cristina Barcelona co-star, Javier Bardem, was curiously absent from last week’s Oscar ceremonies where Pene nabbed the award for Best Supporting Actress!
So why the no-show, Mr. Pene?
It turns out Bardem injured himself while working on a new film!
He “suffered a herniated disc” while shooting Biutiful and was under strict orders to stay in bed.
Poor guy!
