It’s not uncommon to see whirlwind romances spiral out of movies and TV projects. But the latest co-stars rumored to be hooking up are raising eyebrows across the board… Because they played mother and son!

In viral footage circulating around social media, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story stars Nicholas Alexander Chavez and Cooper Koch pose for photos with their TV parents. But while Javier Bardem looks like just another co-star, Nicholas and Chloë, who plays his mother Kitty, look… a little too close!

While sitting next to her on a couch, Nick looks at her lustfully while rubbing her back until she turns and faces him. When she finally does, the pair go in for a KISS! And not a mother-son peck! And then ANOTHER kiss before looking back at the camera to pose… All while Cooper and Javier sit next to them awkwardly! See (below):

OMG! WHAT?! These two TOTALLY look like they’re hooking up, right??

The folks going wild on Reddit sure think so! Users were quick to jump to the ick, as well! Why? First, their roles. Not only do they play mother and son, the Menendez Brothers have famously claimed they were the victims of child molestation by a parent. Oof. There’s also IRL ick, as there’s a “significant age gap between the two.” Chloë, while you might never guess because she’s an ageless beauty, is 49, while Nicholas is just 25! But that’s not the worst of it!

Others pointed out the two are both, so far as everyone knows, in relationships! Chloë is married to art gallery owner Siniša Mačković while Nicholas is dating Grotesquerie star Victoria Abbott — who was apparently WITH him at the event! So what’s going on?? Was this nothing? Just a friendly kiss?? Because it sure didn’t look like it!
