
Paula Deen must be ignoring her own cooking show, because she has lost around 30 pounds.
She has pretty much always been blasted for the unhealthy food she promotes on her show, and things only got worse when the public found out she has had diabetes for years and didn’t tell anyone. Plus the only way we found out was she decided to be a rep for a diabetes medication that’s paying her a ton of money, otherwise none would be the wiser.
Anyway, she has now revealed she’s lost 30 pounds by, you guessed it, not eating like she has promoted for years.
Here’s what she said:
“It’s probably around 30 pounds. Small changes can add up to big results. I’m redoing the way my plate looks. I’m doubling up on salad or vegetables and putting smaller portions of carbs and all that. I try to walk thirty minutes a day. It is tough, let’s be honest. Absolutely, and once in a while you can eat two biscuits – you just can’t do it every day three times a day.”
She should maybe be apologizing to fans if she’s following her advice of being “honest.”
Color us unswayed by her actions, but we’re glad she’s getting healthier.
We would never wish harm on anyone.
And we would CERTAINLY not push the food that gave us diabetes on our audience!
