Pee-Wee Coming To HBO

Looks like Pee-Wee Herman has found yet another new home for his playhouse!

Paul Reuben’s Pee-Wee Herman Show is currently running on Broadway, and next it will make its way to HBO.

Immediately after the show leaves New York’s Stephen Sondheim Theatre on January 2, the play will be shot for a 2011 premiere on HBO.

Here’s what SVP of HBO Original Programming Nancy Geller had to say about the network’s history with Pee-Wee Herman:

├óΓé¼┼ôBefore his hit series and movies, HBO introduced Paul Reubens├óΓé¼Γäó Pee-wee Herman to a national audience in the Young Comedians series, followed by the groundbreaking 1981 special.”
