Puppy Shot In Back Legs, Then Abandoned!!

This is just so awful! How can people be so cruel?!
In Crawfordville, Florida, Animal Control officers were called to the side of a highway to check on a bloody dog, who was lying on the side of the roadway.
When they got there, they found a five-month-old German Shepherd puppy with gunshot wounds to his hind legs.
The officers named him Zeke and took him to Cauzican Care Animal Rescue where he’s already gained three pounds in the past five days.
Sadly, he is going to have to lose his left back leg because the bones were shattered by the gunshots. His right leg will need surgery.
The Animal Control officers are working with the County Sheriff’s Office to find out who shot him.
They found his original owner but she isn’t facing any charges just yet. We hope they find the sicko who did this!!
The animal control office is currently raising money to cover Zeke’s surgery.
