R. Kelly Too Busy Fighting Lifetime To Worry About The 'Phonies' Muting Him -- As More Artists Pull Their Collabs!

R. Kelly doesn’t have time to be upset over the many artists pulling their collabs with him from streaming services — he’s got more pressing matters on his hands.
Like filing a massive lawsuit against Lifetime over the docuseries that’s inspired peers like Lady GaGa, Celine Dion, and Chance The Rapper to jump aboard the #MuteRKelly movement.
According to TMZ, the disgraced R&B star has dismissed the artists distancing themselves from him as “phonies” who are trying to keep their own images clean as the public swallows all those unsettling Surviving R. Kelly allegations.

The 52-year-old singer is apparently more concerned with rectifying the so-called “lies” that have been said about him in the docuseries. After the network completely ignored the cease and desist letter Kelly’s lawyers sent ahead of the six-part special’s airing, the accused is ready to fight dirty.
Kelly’s reportedly been having daily meetings with his legal team where they not only discuss what’s being said about him on Surviving, but also try to dig up dirt on Lifetime executives.
So far, Kelly has yet to file another lawsuit — but his career is quickly going down the toilet. As we reported, the singer’s label RCA/Sony has pulled all financial backing for new projects while artists continue to cut ties with him.

The Pussycat Dolls are reportedly in the process of getting the song Out Of This Club featuring Kelly removed from all streaming services; meanwhile, Ciara is also working to wipe her Kelly collab Promise off of digital platforms.
But the artist is far from being completely muted, as plenty of his peers are keeping their Kelly collabs online… for now.
