We had always wondered what happened to him, but it’s not a huge surprise!

Wes Bentley from American Beauty fame disappeared from the Hollywood scene shortly after he hit it big because he found a more appealing option – DRUGS! The recreational drinking and marijuana from his youth spiraled into cocaine, Ecstasy and eventually heroin. Addiction ruled his life for years!

The actor, who is currently in the middle of a divorce from actress Jennifer Quanz, whom he wed in 2001, is recovering and back to his craft. And now he’s starring the in the Off Broadway play, Venus in Fur.
