Rhea Perlman is teaming up with Kirstie Alley in a mini Cheers reunion for Kirstie’s new comedy pilot!!
We are so excited for this that we can’t even properly express it. Incredibly excited? Astronomically excited? Nothing fits!
Here’s what it’s about:
Perlman has closed a deal to co-star opposite Alley in Alley’s ABC comedy pilot The Manzanis. The family comedy written by sitcom veterans Marco Pennette and Dave Flebotte stars Alley as Angela Manzani, an opinionated wife/mother who, along with her Italian American family, moves to a quiet New Jersey neighborhood where they clash with their new, WASPy neighbors. Perlman will play Angela’s mother in law Camille Manzani.
Sounds hilarious! But, that takes a back seat to the fact that Rhea is on television again!
