Rihanna has a lot to contemplate following the terrifying attack on her life.
In the days following the shooting which targeted the Love on the Brain singer’s Beverly Hills home, she’s reportedly considering all her options. On Tuesday, insiders spoke to DailyMail.com about the Sunday shooting incident, which left bullet holes in Rihanna’s home allegedly fired by 35-year-old Ivanna Ortiz, who has since been arrested for attempted murder and booked into jail on a $10.2 million bond. As we reported, some of the bullets hit an Airstream trailer parked in the driveway, which Rih and A$AP Rocky were reportedly inside of at the time. Things were THAT close to being much worse.
According to the insider, Rihanna’s security team had been aware of the threats on her life made by Ortiz. About two weeks prior to the targeted shooting, Ortiz posted a video on Facebook seemingly threatening her life and calling her a witch. So eerie.

The whole incident has now reportedly left the S&M singer “shell shocked” as she fears her family’s safety. According to the insider, she has since left the Beverly Hills home with her and A$AP Rocky’s three children, RZA, 3, Riot, 2, and Rocki, 5 months:
“Rihanna is absolutely shell shocked by the shooting and has evacuated with the kids. She is confused and devastated by the attack on her home, and is working with law enforcement to figure out what happened.”
The shocking incident has apparently rattled her so much that she’s now considering a life-changing move across the pond:
“Rihanna had a place in London a few years ago and has been considering moving back because LA’s wealthiest have been targeted.”
In 2021, Netflix boss Ted Sarandos’ mother-in-law Jacqueline Avant tragically fell victim to a robbery-homicide. The incident was merely one of many seemingly targeted attacks:
“There was the break in and murder at the Avant property, Nicki Minaj‘s home was swatted and Garcelle Beauvais’ house was targeted too. Rihanna knows all three and the fact that this has now happened to her too is horrible.”
So terrifying.
A second source also spoke to the outlet, revealing:
“Rihanna and A$AP are contemplating every option after the shooting to see if it would be wise to move.”
The 38-year-old apparently “isn’t married to the location” in Beverly Hills:
“She loves the house, but for the protection of her family, her kids, she might decide to live somewhere else and attempt getting a better security detail … Decisions will be made fast on if they move because her children are all that matters to her in the long run, and their protection is paramount.”
They added:
“This is not a wake up call, this is just a part of their life that is BS, but a part of their life. Being celebrities brings this type of nonsense, and though this is part of their reality, they are thinking about moving and making a new home for themselves. It has only taken a short amount of time to throw their life into thinking about a full on change. So everything is still on the table.”
NOTHING is more important than their safety and mental health. And staying in their current home might just be enough to jeopardize both.
Elsewhere, the first insider noted Rihanna’s team “has been aware of previous threats made towards her.”
“Her team are proactive in making sure she is safe. The relevant authorities are now looking into all threats on high visible social media platforms like X and others like Telegram. There was an incident a few years ago where a fan turned up outside a house she was vacationing in demanding to see her, so this shooting has understandably triggered some anxiety.”
We hope Rihanna and Rocky figure out the best possible solution for their family’s safety.
