Michael Phelps is back home in America after a truly incredibly — and historic — Olympic run down in Brazil, and sure enough, he’s starting to field questions about the curious case of Ryan Lochte!

Of course, Lochte has been in metaphorical hot water this week after claiming he was the victim of an armed robbery that took place down in Rio last weekend.
His story has been pretty thoroughly debunked by authorities, and even Lochte himself issued an apology for everything that went down during what’s no doubt been a stressful, unfortunate few days for the American swimmer.
Back home, though, Phelps was spotted at a Starbucks in Scottsdale, Arizona when a paparazzo asked about the Lochte situation.
When pressed about whether he thinks Lochte will be OK after the huge controversy, Phelps said:
“We have good people taking care of it, so hopefully.”
Well, jeah!!

Phelps apparently has a LOT more to say — and will do so when E! News reveals ALL of their footage of him tonight on their nightly news show, set to go at 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. ET.
