Elle‘s Women In Music issue is giving us so much life!
First we had that GORGEOUS Adele cover, and now we’ve been gifted with some supreme ferocity courtesy of Rita Ora!
The singer appears on two separate covers for the mag’s May issue, wearing a pink Chanel Haute Couture dress on the first one and rocking a crazy-cool headpiece by Ken O├óΓé¼ΓäóRourke.
For the second cover, the 22-year-old channels Mickey Mouse in a Calvin Klein strapless top and Philip Treacy mouse ears.
The spread features Rita in even more haute couture creations by Valentino and Dior, as well as a green floral headpiece by Heather Huey.
Doesn’t she look so at ease in couture? Editors were wise to style her so extravagantly for this story!
Miz Ora also gives some insight into her style. For example, she would never let her record label tell her what to wear.
She said:
“That should never be allowed! It├óΓé¼Γäós like somebody telling you what to sing.”
She also reveals how she got her hands on that Marchesa gown at the EMAs in 2012. She admitted:
“I went up to [Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman] and said, ‘Hi, I├óΓé¼Γäóm Rita. Nice to meet you. I need to wear your dress.’ She was like, ‘What dress?’ They├óΓé¼Γäóve got 10 million dresses. I said, ‘Look, I have your dress as the screen saver on my phone. This red dress needs to be on my body.'”
It pays to be a bit forward! Ha!
