Porn Star Ron Jeremy Charged With Sexually Assaulting Four Women

Porn icon Ron Jeremy has been charged with sexually assaulting four women.

According to reports, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office charged the 67-year-old on Tuesday with eight counts for incidents dating from 2014 to last year.

The former adult film star (real name Ronald Jeremy Hyatt) is expected to be arraigned later on Tuesday. Prosecutors are looking to set bail at $6.6 million.

Specifically, Jeremy has been accused of sexually assaulting three women at a West Hollywood bar in separate incidents in 2017 and 2019. He’s also accused of raping a 25-year-old woman at a West Hollywood home in May 2014. The victims are identified in the complaint as Jane Does 1 through 4.

The porn actor faces three charges of forcible rape, three charges of forcible penetration by a foreign object, one count of forcible oral copulation, and one count of sexual battery. If convicted, he faces up to 90 years to life in prison.

The charges come years after over a dozen women came forward with sex assault allegations against Ron in an explosive Rolling Stone report, with their allegations spanning over 30 years. The performer denied any wrongdoing at the time, telling the magazine:

“Let me first say, that I’m fully in support of the women and men who have been coming forward about being sexually assaulted. These real predators need to be taken down. My reputation is currently being smeared by these old allegations that have already been investigated and dismissed… these allegations have been online and in print for quite sometime. This is not new or breaking news. I’m shocked you guys are picking this up after it’s been reported on over and over by other publications and has been proven over and over to be false… I have never and would never rape anyone. All serious allegations have been investigated by police and dismissed by judges, as have most of the accusations of ‘Groping’.”

As for those many “groping” accusations — including one from adult performer Kendra Sunderland, who said Jeremy sucked her breasts without permission at a Dallas expo in 2015 — the adult film legend said:

“As for the charges of Groping, I say yes, I AM A GROPER. And by groper, I mean I get paid to show up to these shows, events, and photo shoots and touch the people and they touch me. I’m not the young stud I was, but I still draw a crowd. And we are talking about things that are within reason, in front of police officer’s and security that are always there as well as the tons of cameras And the general public. But seriously, if you were going to be around Ron Jeremy, wouldn’t you assume that I’d be a little bit touchy Feely? Yes. This is what I do for a living. I am not Kevin Spacey, Louis CK, Weinstein, or Cosby.”

Well, the Hedgehog may not think he’s Weinstein, but he’s certainly getting the Harvey Weinstein treatment. His case is being handled by Deputy District Attorney Paul Thompson, who is also leading the El Lay case against the disgraced film producer.
