Rose McGowan has been one of the leading voices in the #MeToo movement.
Her accusations of rape against Harvey Weinstein go back nearly twenty years, and she’s been remarkably courageous speaking out over the past few months despite legal barriers.
But when it comes to her Hollywood colleagues’ new Time’s Up initiative, she’s shown disdain and incredulity.

So how did her name end up on the letter, endorsing the movement?
During a Citizen Rose panel during the Television Critics Association tour on Tuesday, she clarified:
“I was asked to lend my name. Someone texted me actually, to ask me to lend my name to letter to aid female farm workers of sexual harassment. I said ├óΓé¼╦£of course.’ Next thing I know, I’m endorsing Time’s Up.”
So just to be clear, her feelings toward the movement have not changed. She is NOT a fan.
