Was the Pussycat Dolls’ Nicole Scherzinger‘s boyfriend afraid of settling down?????
Scherzinger’s longtime boyfriend, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton dumped the Pussycat after a two year relationship because he wasn’t ready to “become engaged, get married or think about having children.”
Boo hoo!
The 24-year-old race car driver met 31-year-old Nicole in November of 2007, and the two struggled with the long-distance relationship, even though they appeared to be madly in love with each other while in the public eye.
Sources claim Hamilton is not ready to give up his singledom just yet!
Says one insider: “He├óΓé¼Γäós young, they spend an awful lot of time apart and he├óΓé¼Γäós just not ready to leave his youth behind for a lifetime with Nicole.”
Another added: “He wants to play the singles market for a while and enjoy himself. He├óΓé¼Γäós still very young, he├óΓé¼Γäós incredibly rich and he├óΓé¼Γäós not wanting to be tied down into a relationship right now. It├óΓé¼Γäós as simple as that.”
A little harsh!
Nicole is reportedly crushed by the break-up, with friends close to the PCD frontwoman saying Scherzinger saw herself with Hamilton “for a long time.”
Scherzinger has cancelled her appearance at Singapore’s F1 Rocks concert, which coincides with the Singapore Grand Prix.
├óΓé¼┼ôNicole and Lewis would have been the star draw but she doesn├óΓé¼Γäót want to be within 20 feet of him right now,” an insider revealed. “She├óΓé¼Γäós very upset about being ditched and needs time out. She├óΓé¼Γäós cleared her schedule and will be in LA for the next two weeks.”
