Not today, Twitter trolls!
ESPN‘s rising star Samantha Ponder clapped back at Internet scum this week who were leaving the sportscaster “sexist/vulgar” comments about her appearance and job position amid her pregnancy.
A little background: the 31-year-old sideline reporter is expected to welcome her second child with San Francisco 49ers quarterback Christian Ponder later this year.

Miz Ponder has had quite the career already as she took Erin Andrews‘ spot on the network’s College GameDay in 2012, and regularly reports for Thursday Night College Football. The journalist is also rumored to replace Chris Berman as anchor on Sunday NFL Countdown. YGG!
So clearly, there are more important things to talk about than the way she looks.
On Tuesday, Samantha quipped:
Getting sexist/vulgar tweets abt my job/appearance while I’m unable to see my own feet & covered in toddler pee is somethin else I tell ya.

Ugh, we hate people sometimes.
But she seems to be getting a lot of support from fans — one even commenting:
@sam_ponder You are an inspiration for young girls like my daughter. She is now a sophomore in college dreaming of being on the sideline. pic.twitter.com/sgtRNPzme0
