Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. have a relationship we all look up to — but what’s the secret??
Well, Buffy herself is spilling the tea! On Wednesday’s episode of Today with Jenna & Friends, she sat down alongside Jenna Bush Hager and Tiffany Haddish to give us the secret to a long-lasting marriage. When asked how she and Freddie have made it 22 years, she simply responded:
“Separate bathrooms!”
LOLz!

Jenna couldn’t believe what she was hearing and asked:
“That’s it? It’s that simple?”
To which SMG confirmed it indeed is:
“It’s that simple.”
Wow!
Tiffany chimed in with her own theory, though — she wasn’t expecting a separate bathroom to be the answer:
“See, I was thinking it was like the [I Love Lucy] thing where [Lucy and Ricky had] twin beds, and then when y’all want to get together, you push them together, and when you want to be apart, you push them apart.”
Ha! The I Know What You Did Last Summer star responded:
“I had not thought of that. That is actually a really good idea.”
Well, if Freddie comes home to his bed replaced with two twin beds, he can thank Mz. Haddish for putting the idea in his wife’s head! Watch the full interview (below):
