Scarlett Johansson Channels Brigitte Bardot To Cover Bonnie & Clyde

Well, at least it’s better than pretending to be Marilyn Monroe!

Scarlett Johansson has teamed up with LuLu Gainsbourg to cover Bonnie & Clyde — a song originally recorded by Brigitte Bardot and LuLu’s father, Serge Gainsbourg.

The song, which is based off a poem written by THE Bonnie Parker weeks before she and Clyde Barrow were shot, is a sultry classic infused with jazz and old Hollywood.

What’s not so classic about the cover is Scarlett’s voice. Many people are debating whether or not her singing skills were up to par, but honestly, we don’t think this is a song meant for an Adele.

This song is supposed to be sultry, and if there’s anyone who can accomplish that, it’s ScarJo and those lips!
