Scarlett Johansson is telling the media to back off of her friend John Travolta!
On Sunday during the Oscars red carpet, the Internet went crazy when images of the 61-year-old actor planting a kiss on the Avengers star’s cheek and an arm around her waist circulated.

Many felt the gesture was highly awkward and inappropriate, and the situation only escalated when during the ceremony, the Grease star caressed co-presenter Idina Menzel‘s face.
Now ScarJo is finally address the viral controversy.
Regarding Travolta, who was her co-star in the film A Love Song for Bobby Long:
“There is nothing strange, creepy or inappropriate about John Travolta.”
Well said!
In fact, the 30-year-old even explains that the unnecessary hooplah was caused by a mistimed photo op.
She explains:
“The image that is circulating is an unfortunate still-frame from a live-action encounter that was very sweet and totally welcome├óΓé¼┬ª That still photo does not reflect what preceded and followed if you see the moment live. Yet another way we are misguided, misinformed and sensationalized by the 24-hour news cycle. I haven’t seen John in some years and it is always a pleasure to be greeted by him.”
